What we already know has been confirmed, Kiwi F1 driver Liam Lawson will drive alongside Max Verstappen for Oracle Red Bull Racing at this weekend’s Italian Grand Prix at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Italy.

Lawson has replaced Isack Hadjar who is recovering from a wrist injury sustained during the summer break.

The team’s statement says it is “…closely monitoring his rehabilitation and will take no unnecessary risks with his recovery to competition and wishes him a speedy recovery.”

Red Bull driver Ayumu Iwasa, who currently competes in the Japanese Super Formula Series drive Verstappen’s car during FP1, as part of the rookie driver programme.
