Strong start for Paddon in Finland

Hayden Paddon and John Kennard have made a solid start to their WRC Secto Rally Finland 2022 and sit sixth overall in the WRC2 category and 15th overall.

“Good to successfully complete a day of WRC rallying after a long day in the car,” commented Paddon. “Super close times amongst all the locals and only 50sec from the lead in P6.

“We have been missing a little bit of pace but with more time in the seat and data, this will improve. Looking forward to tomorrow with some amazing stages and rain on the way

The Hyundai i20 N Rally2 driver posted benchmark times on seven of the day’s nine superfast speed tests and arrived back in Jyväskylä with a solid 19.4sec advantage over nearest challenger Emil Lindholm as well as holding 10th overall.
