With just three weeks to go till the first Round, anticipation is building in the lead-up to the Auckland Motorcycle Club Summer Series for 2015-16.
In what will be another very busy season of racing, the Club is gearing up to manage a significant workload. Over and above the Club Series, AMCC will again provide resources in support of the Suzuki Series, Paeroa, the National Road-Race Championships, and the new event that everyone is talking about – the Motul 6 Hour race to be held at Hampton Downs on 8th November.
For now though, the focus is on Hampton Downs on Sunday 18th October, where the Club Series commences with the first of five Rounds.
As with last season, the final Round in April will again be for double-points for all AMCC classes.
This added an extra edge to the points chase for the Club Championship titles last season, and that is not expected to be any different this time around.
Catering to a broad range of classes – from Formula Auckland (F1) class
machinery through to the extremely popular Post Classic classes – the
AMCC Series this summer is again proud to host – in association with Hyosung New Zealand – for the fifth consecutive year, the highly competitive WIL Sport Management Hyosung Cup.
This one-make Manufacturer supported category often provides the most exciting racing on the day, and is a vital development category for new
riders, and those graduating from miniature road-race.
