Two Perth races today; Fords in form

It is Supercars race day in the west, with two races scheduled today at the Bosch Power Tools Perth Super 440.

Supercars will hold two 120-kilometre races today at MotorMall Wanneroo Raceway, Race 23 and 24 of the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship season.

Championship leader Matt Payne is the early man to beat, having topped practice yesterday in an ominous run of form.

Championship rivals Broc Feeney, Brodie Kostecki, and Cam Waters were all in the top five yesterday as drivers tested the limits of the 2.42-kilometre circuit.

Rookie Jayden Ojeda led the first of two back-to-back 25-minute sessions on Friday. Penrith native Ojeda currently sits 12th in the Supercars standings, just over 100 points from the 10th and final seed for the Supercars Finals.

Feeney, Payne and the rest of the Supercars field will hit the track Saturday morning for Boost Mobile Qualifying at 9:45 a.m. AWST.

The Championship will hold two 120-kilometre races today, one at 12:45 p.m. and another at 4:20 p.m.
