Mildura’s Cam Waters is running hot heading into this weekend’s Bosch Power Tools Perth Super 440, Repco Supercars Championship round.
The Monster Energy Ford driver had an innocuous start to season 2026, with just two podiums in the first 16 races of the season.
But after scoring his first win in Race 17 in Darwin in June, Waters has lit up the points table, taking home trophies in five of the last six races, including another win in Townsville earlier this month.
That run has put the 31-year old into the Championship conversation, as the new dad continues to push for his first Supercars title.
To continue that momentum, Waters will need to translate his car speed on the bumpy streets of Townsville to the flowing hills at Perth’s MotorMall Wanneroo Raceway.
The Tickford driver has one Perth win under his belt, in 2024, and will be among the favourites when the Championship arrives in WA later this week.
On-track action at the Bosch Power Tools Perth Super 440 begins on Friday, with two 120-kilometre races on Saturday and a 200-kilometre race on Sunday.
