Kiwi Visa Cash App Racing Bull’s F1 driver Liam Lawson is back with his VCARB team for this weekend’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix on the streets of Baku City. Having filled in for the last three F1 races at Oracle Red Bull Racing for the injured Isaak Hadjar. Lawson will line up alongside teammate Arvid Lindblad in his #30 Racing Bulls VCARB 03.
“It feels great to be back in my car alongside the team as we head to Baku,” commented Lawson.
“It has been a busy few weeks with the switch to Red Bull Racing, and I’m looking forward to getting back into the rhythm with the team and focusing on the weekend ahead.”
Last season Lawson finished fifth in Baku, his best F1 result so far after qualifying third fastest, his best qualifying result in his F1 career.
VCARB are yet to confirm their driver line-up for the 2027 season although it seems highly likely that they will continue with both Lawson and Lindblad.
Oracle Red Bull Racing announced this week an extension to Isack Hadjar’s contract alongside Max Vestappen, completing its driver line-up for the 2027 Formula One season.
