Toowoomba’s Will Brown has finally returned to victory lane, winning Race 27 late this afternoon at the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440.
It is Brown’s 13th career win and his first in over a year; his last race win came at the same venue 12 months ago.
The Queenslander was followed home by Brodie Kostecki – who won today’s earlier race – and Brown’s teammate Broc Feeney in third.
Brown becomes the 10th different driver to win a race in the 2026 Supercars season.

With 15 laps to go, it looked like a Grove Racing 1-2 was on the cards, with Kai Allen and Matt Payne leading the way.
But two late Safety Car periods threw the battle for the win up for grabs, with Brown battling through the field along with Kostecki and Feeney that featured wild door-to-door racing throughout the final 10 laps.
But it was Brown who emerged in front, passing Allen at Turn 2 on the Lap 34 restart, and charging to take his first race of the 2026 Supercars season.
Allen came back fourth to the chequered flag, with 2025 Supercars champion Chaz Mostert fifth, and Payne in sixth.

Payne finishes the day with a 110-point lead over Feeney in the standings, and remains the favourite to win the Repco Sprint Cup tomorrow.
Supercars action on Sunday begins with Boost Mobile Qualifying for Race 28 at 10:55 a.m. AEST, followed by the Boost Mobile Top Ten Shootout at 11:40 a.m.
That will set the grid for the Race 28 of the Repco Supercars Championship season, which gets underway at 3:20 p.m.
