With on-track action commencing at 7:15am Friday, The Bathurst 6 Hour field will enjoy two hours of practice on the opening day ahead of a further 40 minutes on Saturday morning.

That sets the scene for Qualifying which takes place across two parts – one each for the bottom and then top 50% of the grid respectively – later on Saturday afternoon.

Following a 20-minute warm-up session in the morning, the 6 Hour itself commences at 11:15am on Easter Sunday.

The Trico Trans-Am series will feature a packed grid in a first ever joint round with the TA2 Muscle Car series.

Following practice on Friday, two 15-minute qualifying sessions will set the grid for Race 1 on Saturday afternoon, the 45-minute affair to commence just after Bathurst 6 Hour qualifying.

The second race will then be held Sunday morning as the final warm-up act to the 6 Hour itself.

The busy support race program includes four heat races for the Autosport IPRA Bathurst Cup (Improved Production) grid and three for the combined Australian Pulsar Association and Formula RX8 field – with that category to complete their program on Saturday afternoon.

The Circuit Excel Racing Association, Australian Historic Touring Cars Association and the second round of the Australian Prototype Series will include three-race programs, all of which will conclude on Sunday morning.

The full event schedule release comes following confirmation of a record on-air package for the event this year.
