This week on Motorsport on 83, we again travel around the world from The Villa Real Circuit in Portugal to the slippery roads of Northwestern Belgium, the deep south of New Zealand showcasing the talent in New Zealand Formula Ford and finally back to Perth in Australia for High Limits finals night with a winner takes all race for $110,000.
First up is Rnd 4 of the World Touring Car Championship This round was at the Circuit International de Villa Real, a tight and twisty street course in Norther Portugal. With limited places to pass, the organizers instigated “Jocker Laps” to spice up the racing. This round saw the resurgence of Hyundai in the manufacturer’s standings.
Round four of the 2026 Belgium Rally Championship shook up the overall standings with second place Jos Verstappen (main photo) crashing out heavily. The rally takes place in the city of Namur in south central Belgium and with Verstappen’s crash, the championship leader is now Maxime Potty.
Formula Ford in New Zealand has just had a major boost with the newly announced sponsorship with Rodin Cars.
The field for this season looks strong so as a warmup of what’s in store for FF lovers, here is all the NZ Formula Ford Championship action from last season’s NextGen round at Teretonga Park in Southland.
The High Limits Sprintcar racing out of Perth last summer has been epic and the fourth of our Sprintcar shows is no exception. With a strong contingent of USA stars it’s all on with the final race of the night carrying a massive $110,000 to the winner of the final race of the series.
