This week on Motorsport on 83 it’s an all New Zealand lineup.
First up we return to Whanganui and the first part of the coverage of the Annual Boxing Day Motorcycle races around the world-famous closed streets of the Cemetery Circuit. This is show one of three, with the others to follow in the next few weeks
Next up is the 2026 New Zealand Rally Championship which moves to Canterbury for round two. The Lone Star Rally of Canterbury was a cracker with the sons of rallying royalty in the Stokes brothers Robbie and Jack along with Jack Hawkswood fighting it out stage by stage.
Finaly the show continues with the 2026 Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceana Trophy series or what you and I call the Toyota Racing Series. This week it’s the final round The New Zealand International Grand Prix, one of only two events worldwide to hold the title of Grand Prix outside of Formula One.
The NZIGP was at Highlands Motorsport Park in Cromwell and proved to be a fitting way to end this amazing four round series for 2026
