The second day of action at the VAILO Adelaide 500 kicks off today, with this afternoon’s Boost Mobile Qualifying set to make a crucial mark for Supercars championship hopefuls Will Brown and Broc Feeney.
Supercars has one practice session today at 1:05 p.m. ACDT before qualifying at 5:30 p.m., which will set the majority of the grid for Saturday’s 250-kilometre race.
The fastest 10 from qualifying on Friday will take part in the Boost Mobile Top Ten Shootout on Saturday to determine pole position for the 78-lap contest.
A three-time race winner in Adelaide, James Courtney was fastest in Thursday’s sole practice session, showing the oldest driver on the grid still has the fire and ability behind the wheel.
Brown was sixth in Thursday’s practice session while Feeney finished with the 13th fastest lap of the 30-minute session, which was highlighted by several drivers damaging the front of their Supercars at the famous Senna Chicane.
