Speedy Signs Falcon ready to go

Wellington Touring Car driver Brock Cooley and the Brock Cooley Motorsport Team are looking for a solid start to the new unified NZ Touring Car Series at the opening round at the Taupo Motorsport Park this weekend.

Cooley has enjoyed a good lead up to the opening round as he prepares to tackle the TL Class of the combined V8 Series. Recent news that Speedy Signs will continue to be the team’s naming rights sponsor for the third straight season has been welcomed by the team and Cooley say’s, “this has been our best ever preparation for a season. We are looking to secure a good result at Taupo to consolidate prior to the rest of the championship.”

The Speedy Signs Falcon carries a new livery this season courtesy of Pixelsauras and the car has attracted a lot of favourable comment. Speedy Signs join Lower Hutt based Stevens Ford & Mazda Ltd along with longtime supporters Gaskin Ford & Mazda, Macbilt Engineering, Ashton Panel & Paint, Duncan Partition Installations, BC Contracting and EmbroidMe.
This will be Cooley’s third season in the TL Class of the Championship. He finished fourth in the 2013/2014 championship and eighth last season despite electing to miss the two South Island rounds. Prior to that Cooley was the NZGT Champion in the IRC Racing Categories.

This year’s series will be fought out over seven rounds with the next round part of the massive ITM 500 V8 Supercars event at Pukekohe, early in November
