Entries open for 2026 NZ Clubsport Championships

Entries are now open for the 2026 MotorSport New Zealand ClubSport Championships, which is this year hosted by Ashburton Car Club. This flagship ClubSport Championship brings together grassroots competitors from across the country for an action-packed weekend celebrating accessible, competitive motorsport.

Documentation and sign-in take place Friday 13 March (evening) with two days of competition in Ashburton over Saturday and Sunday 14/15 March 2026.

The weekend features three ClubSport disciplines across grass and sealed surfaces:

1/ Motorkhana (Grass)
2/ Autocross (Grass)
3/ Bent Sprint (Seal)

Saturday will see Motorkhana and Autocross competition on a grass course, highlighting precision driving, car control, and speed.

The Championship concludes on Sunday with the Bent Sprint, delivering a fast-paced finale on sealed roads.

Full Championship and single-event entries are available. Full Championship entries will receive priority with entries closing 1 March 2026.

The overall Championship winner will be recognised at the annual MotorSport New Zealand Awards.

Competitors are encouraged to enter early and book travel and accommodation as soon as possible, with strong demand expected for this popular event.
