Supercars will set the grid today for Sunday’s AirTouch 500 at The Bend, the first endurance race of the 2026 season.
Tomorrow’s 500-kilometre race is the longest held yet this season, and will see key co-drivers making their race debuts in 2026.
There are two 40-minute practice sessions today, at 9:50 a.m. ACST and 12:00 p.m. serving as final hit outs for teams to get their cars dialled in for qualifying.
Boost Mobile Qualifying takes place from 2:45 p.m., with the fastest 10 to advance to the Boost Mobile Top Ten Shootout from 5:00 p.m.
Friday’s action was dominated by rookie driver Jayden Ojeda, who turned heads by leading two out of three practice sessions for PremiAir Racing.
Team 18’s Anton De Pasquale and Walkinshaw TWG’s Ryan Wood rounded out the top three on a busy first day at The Bend Motorsport Park, with even more action to come today.
The AirTouch 500 is the first event of the Ryco Enduro Cup, and precedes October’s Repco Bathurst 1000.
