Two Supercars races in Ipswich today

It is race day at Queensland Raceway, with two Supercars races scheduled today at the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440.

This weekend’s event is the ninth of the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship, and the final round of the Repco Sprint Cup.

It was a busy Friday afternoon for teams, with two back-to-back practice sessions making up the day’s Supercars running.

Brodie Kostecki was fastest in practice from Gold Coasters Broc Feeney and Chaz Mostert, while Toowoomba’s Will Brown suffered a gearbox issue that ruled him out of the majority of running.

Championship leader Matt Payne was fourth fastest on Friday, the Kiwi holding a 118-point advantage over Feeney in the championship standings.

Payne could clinch the Sprint Cup today, if he extends that lead above 145 points at the end of the day.

Supercars action resumes at 10:00 a.m. AEST with Boost Mobile Qualifying for Races 26 and 27, setting the grid for today’s races.

The first of two 39-lap, 120-kilometre races then begins at 12:45 p.m., with a second to follow at 4:15 p.m.
