Waters scorches to drought breaking Darwin pole

Tickford Racing star Cam Waters has blazed to a first Boost Mobile Pole of 2026 in an enthralling Top Ten Shootout at the betr Darwin Triple Crown.

The Friday winner mastered Hidden Valley Raceway to secure his first pole since Sydney 2025, and his first in Darwin since 2023. Remarkably, it marked Waters’ first front row start of the season.

Waters becomes the 10th different pole sitter in 2026, a day after becoming the ninth different race winner of the season.

Friday pole winner Brodie Kostecki threw away a brilliant first sector to end up second.

Reigning Supercars champion Chaz Mostert will start his 400th Supercars race from fourth alongside Matt Payne.

Kai Allen and Broc Feeney will share the third row, with Jack Le Brocq,Thomas Randle, James Golding and Zach Bates rounding out the top 10.

Today’s 70-lap, 200-kilometre race begins at 3:20 p.m.
